Documentation for registration in the Danish National Waste Register

All intended carriers for road transport of waste in Denmark must be registered in the Danish National Waste Register, either as carriers or waste collectors. The required documentation must be enclosed to the notifications, such as:

  • A detailed information on which carrier(s) will carry out the shipment of waste on the Danish roads must appear from the enclosed list of the intended carriers.
  • Documentation for registration in the Danish National Waste Register must be enclosed. This documentation may be a printout from the Danish National Waste Register

Please be aware that all waste carriers with their own trucking permit shall be registered in the Danish National Waste Register. It is the trucking company which is actually carrying out the shipments of waste for which the registration requirement is imposed.

Decision about validity of tacit consent to shipments within the European Union

Denmark usually gives tacit consent to shipments in transit through Denmark, when countries of dispatch and of destination are both within the Union. Note that the validity of the tacit consent from Denmark does not prejudge the validity of other countries' tacit consents. Check with the other competent authorities for the validity of their tacit consents.
