The latest chemical effort, which also includes unintentional chemicals in food, has been agreed upon with all parties of the Danish Parliament, and allocates a total of 304.1 million DKK over the years 2022-25, including also for a special biocide agreement. Biocides are chemical products used to combat unwanted organisms, which are found in many places in our everyday life. For example, hand sanitizer, wood protection, and pest control products are all biocides.
The agreement includes activities that target allergenic and endocrine disrupting substances.
