Every advertisement for a biocidal product must be accompanied by the sentences: Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use (in Danish: "Biocidmidler skal anvendes med forsigtighed. Læs etiket og brugs-anvisning, før produktet tages i brug").
It is not permitted to use expressions that give the impression that the product is less harmful than it actually is. It is therefore not permitted to use "green" claims such as "environmentally friendly", "green", "biological" or similar. It is also not permitted to use the term "bio". The only exception is when it forms part of the word "biocide”.
