Parallel trade permit

A company wishing to obtain a parallel trade permit must submit the application via the Register for Biocidal Products (R4BP 3)

A short application procedure of 90 days for companies wishing to make a biocidal product already authorised in one EU Member State available on the market in another Member State. In order to obtain the permit, the product to be made available on the market must be identical to a biocidal product already authorised in the Member State of introduction ("the reference product")

The application must include the following: 

• name and authorisation number of the biocidal product in the Member State of origin
• name and address of the competent authority of the Member State of origin
• name and address of the authorisation holder in the Member State of origin
• original label and instructions for use with which the biocidal product is distributed in the Member State of origin if it is considered as necessary for the examination by the Danish EPA
• name and address of the applicant
• name to be given to the biocidal product to be distributed
• a draft label in Danish for the biocidal product intended to be made available on the market in Denmark
• a sample of the biocidal product intended to be introduced if it is considered as necessary by the Danish EPA
• name and authorisation number of the reference product in Denmark.
