Annex 5 Overview of the industries covered by the sector annex

Standard conditions have been established for the following sectors:

Part 1

K 209. Vehicle breaking (vehicle recycling).

Part 2

G 201. Power-generating plants, heat-generating plants, gas turbine plants and gas engine plants with a total rated thermal input of between 5 and 50 MW.

Part 3

G 202. Power-generating plants, heat-generating plants, gas turbine plants and gas engine plants based on solid biofuels or biogas with a total rated thermal input of between 1 MW and 5 MW.

Part 4

H 201. Outdoor motor sports tracks and motorbike tracks

Part 5

A 203.

Installations that carry out dust-generating surface treatment, including grinding, sandblasting and abrasive finishing of items made from iron, steel or other metals, if the total extraction capacity from the installation exceeds 10,000 normal m 3 per hour.

Installations that carry out the surface treatment of items made from iron, steel and other metals, including chassis treatment, if the consumption capacity as regards organic solvents exceeds 6 kg per hour, except for installations that are covered by J 104.

Part 6

K 203. Installations for the storage, reloading, repackaging or sorting of hazardous waste; cf. points R 12 and R 13 in Annex 6B and points D 14 and D 15 in Annex 6A to the Executive Order on Waste, prior to utilisation or disposal, with the exception of the installations referred to under points K 209, K 210 and K 211.

Part 7

K 211. Recycling centres that receive waste from private sources and other similar waste from commercial enterprises; cf. points R 12 and R 13 in Annex 6B and points D 14 and D 15 in Annex 6A to the Executive Order on Waste with a waste input capacity of 30 tonnes per day or more or with more than four containers with a total volume of at least 30 m 3 .

B 202. Producers of cement and concrete products and concrete mixing installations with an annual production of 20,000 tonnes or more.

Part 9

C 202. Asphalt factories and installations for manufacturing road materials with a production capacity of 10 tonnes per hour or more, with the exception of the cold processing of basic stone materials.

Part 10

E 207. Foodstuff installations with a capacity of at least 6 tonnes an hour. Green drying and green pellet production. Timber drying and timber pellet production.

Part 11

J 202. Crematorium facilities.

Part 12

K 211. Installations for the storage, reloading, repackaging or sorting of non-hazardous waste or waste from electrical and electronic equipment; cf. points R 12 and R 13 in Annex 6B and points D 14 and D 15 in Annex 6A to the Executive Order on Waste prior to utilisation or disposal with a waste input capacity of 30 tonnes per day or more or with more than four containers with a total volume of at least 30 m 3 , with the exception of the installations referred to under point K 211.

Part 13

K 213. Installations for the storage, reloading, and processing of livestock manure, including livestock manure composting installations and biogas plants with an animal or vegetable waste input capacity, including livestock manure and slaughter waste, of 30 tonnes per day or more.

Part 14

A 205 Other installations that carry out the processing of iron, steel or other metals with a production area of 1,000 m 2 or more .

Part 15

D 207. Installations which manufacture products via the sintering of fluoroplastic, compression moulding or fibre-reinforcement of thermosetting plastic, and which have a plastic materials consumption of more than 100 kg per day.

Part 16

J 203. Outdoor shooting ranges.

Part 17

K 206 Installations that utilise non-hazardous waste in accordance with one of the methods R 1 – R 11 as referred to in Annex 6B to the Executive Order on Waste, with the exception of the installations referred to under K 209 – K 215.

Part 18

D 208. Installations that manufacture plastic products via injection moulding, extrusion, including calendering, or via thermoforming, with a plastic materials consumption of more than 5 tonnes per day. Installations which manufacture expanded polystyrene products and which have a polystyrene consumption of more than 5 tonnes per day.

Part 19

E 202. Installations that carry out the pressure-impregnation of timber.

Part 20

E 215. Installations that carry out the vacuum- and/or dip-impregnation of wood or surface treatment of timber with a consumption capacity as regards organic solvents in excess of 6 kg per hour. Except for installations that are covered by J 104.

Part 21

K 214. Other composting installations with an annual waste input capacity of 100 tonnes or more, with the exception of livestock manure.

Part 22

F 207. Installations for the manufacture of feed for fur animals
