The Chemical Inspection Service controlls hair dye
The Chemical Inspection Service controlls hair dye.
In November 2010, the Chemical Inspection Service selected hair dyes for control of colourants and warning labelling.
The selected hair dyes are sold for private use at different shops and internet shops.
The hair dyes are analysed for content of a number of colourants, which may only be present in the product in limited concentrations and which entail a particular warning labelling regarding allergy on the packaging as well as in the instruction manual.
The results from the control are expected in April 2011.
