Legislation on shipment of waste

Shipment of waste is regulated in EU's Regulation 1013/2006 on shipment of wate. The Regulation is mandatory for all of the European Union. Beside the Regulation the Member States are obliged to set national legislation for such topics as the financial guarantee in the notification procedure. The procedure for shipment of waste is divided in to two categories: Some kinds of waste can be shipped according to the procedure for greenlistet waste, otherwise it has to notified to the national competent authority.

Shipment of waste is regulated in the European Union's Regulation 1013/2006 on shipment of waste. The Regulation is mandatory for all of the European Union and for countries in the European Economic Area. Beside the Regulation, the Member States are obliged to adopt national legislations according to for example the financial guarantee in the notification procedure pursuant of the Regulation.

The procedure for shipment of waste is divided in to two categories. Waste can either be shipped after the procedure for greenlistet waste or it has to notified to the national competent authority.
