Documentation for registration

From the 1 st October 2013, the Danish EPA requests further documentation from the intended carriers mentioned in the notifications concerning shipments of waste. All intended carriers for road transport of waste in Denmark must be registered in the Danish National Waste Register, either as carriers or waste collectors. The required documentation must be enclosed to the notifications.

The Danish EPA requests the evidence of registration of the intended carriers in the Danish National Waste Register according to Annex II, part 1, n o 15 of the Waste Shipment Regulation 1013/2006.
The Danish EPA requests that

  • detailed information on which carrier(s) will carry out the shipment of waste on the Danish roads must appear from the enclosed list of the intended carriers.

If the above-mentioned requirements are not enclosed to the notification, the Danish EPA will consider the notification as not properly completed. The notification will therefore not be processed immediately by the screening process.

Please be aware that all waste carriers with their own trucking permit shall be registered in the Danish National Waste Register. It is the trucking company which is actually carrying out the shipments of waste for which the registration requirement is imposed.
